Know more about PayPal

Do you have questions about how to use PayPal? Below are some basic tips that should help you.

How can I collect my points (cash value)?
Answer: Go to www.paypal.com  and click on ‘Log in’. After logging into your account, you can see the cash value of your points under “Account activity”. Your payment has been added to your balance. In case you have configured your PayPal account in a way that you need to confirm the payment manually please do not forget to click “Accept” to finalise the payment. Your points (cash value) are now added to your PayPal account.
Which e-mail address do you use to send the points (cash value) to?
Answer: Your reward will be sent to your e-mail address that you use for your OpinionWorld membership.
Can I receive my points (cash value) via bank transfer or a cheque?
Answer: OpinionWorld does not work with bank transfers or cheques. PayPal is the only way of receiving your survey rewards.

PayPal was selected as our preferred payment platform for its security, simplicity and flexibility. Opening an account with PayPal does not mean supplying any confidential financial information directly to OpinionWorld (i.e.: bank account or credit card number).

Once you have received payments and want to transfer the amount to your own account it is however necessary to let PayPal know where to send this money (e.g. provide a credit card or a bank account number). Please be sure that solely PayPal can access this information (for processing the money transfer); OpinionWorld will never get to see any of these details.

I have an account but with a different e-mail address, what should I do?
Answer: You can add the e-mail address to which we sent your reward to your existing account. Simply click on ‘Log in’ followed by ‘profile’ / email’ / ‘add’. This way, you can add up to 7 extra e-mail addresses to your existing PayPal account. After adding the desired address, you can follow the steps described under "You have a PayPal account".
How can I transfer money from my PayPal account to my bank account?
Answer: Click on ‘add funds’ / ‘transfer funds to a bank account’. Please note that the minimum amount you can transfer to your bank account is £10.00.
How long do I have to accept my payment?
Answer: After receiving an e-mail notification about received payment, you have 30 days to accept the transfer we have made. After 30 days the payment expires and will be returned to OpinionWorld. It is not possible to receive your reward by cheque or bank transfer.
I received a message from payment@surveysampling.com/payment@your-points.com. What does this mean?
Answer: This e-mail address is used to transfer your points and prizes for your participation in OpinionWorld surveys. Please read the notification that comes with this e-mail as it contains important information.
The message notification that I received from you is in a language that I do not understand?
Answer: To view the details of the transfer in your own language, simply log into your PayPal account and click on the Details in the received payment. You will see the information in your own language.
How can I set up a PayPal account?
Answer: Go to www.paypal.com  and click on ‘Sign up’. Follow the steps shown to create a new account (with the e-mail address to which we sent your reward.) When you do not wish to enter a credit card number, you can simply skip this field and enter a bank account number at a later stage, by clicking on ‘profile / bank accounts / Add, without using a credit card. After creating an account, you can follow the steps described under 5: ‘You now have a PayPal account.
